FAKE FOOD, April 2014
For this much anticipated project, each student created a complete meal using primarily recyclable materials. Starting with a sketch and a giant pile of trash in the middle of the room, students had to "figure out" through much trial and error (and lots of consulting with classmates) how to transform a two-dimensional drawing into appetizing, three-dimensional objects. Although time consuming, the results of this process were fabulous and convincing. Check them out! (7B top, 7A bottom)
